Avalanche Conditions: (Link to the International Avalanche Danger Scale here) –

Lot’s of visible avalanche activity in Gold Basin today and a human triggered (triggered from a safe spot on our up track) slide in Coyote Chute that traversed over the ridge and into Horse Creek all help to confirm our avalanche danger rating of HIGH for today. We are keeping the avalanche danger rating CONSIDERABLE overnight tonight and expect there could still be some major human triggered slide potential out there on North and East facing slopes. We will update this message tomorrow morning. Be safe and DON’T use your good skis!
